1973-74. "Involvement
in local affairs" was the theme of Faithful Navigator GEORGE J.
CARPENTER'S term. Various public officials were invited to attend
meetings and discuss affairs of current interest. The assembly gained 16
new members during an Exemplification held in Sulphur. The Color Corps
participated in the monthly Mass for Vocations sponsored by the Serra Club
of Lake Charles.
At the end of the term, Master Stacey announced that the assembly had
won the Master's Award under the leadership of both Calvin Prejean and
George Carpenter.
